Prayer
Last May 4, I went to the OB for my monthly check up. And since my baby is 12 weeks old, she can already detect a heartbeat. So I was very excited as well as my mom.
The OB starts gliding the instrument on my tummy finding my baby’s heartbeat. I became nervous when it’s like 2 minutes already and she’s not yet detecting the heartbeat, I was scared. I want to cry, I can see on her face that she’s a little bit scared too. I prayed, I prayed to God and talked to my baby to let the dr. find his heartbeat.. I was about to cry when she said ‘ayun (thats it)’
I was very happy to hear his heart beating, fast.. normal for a 12 week old baby inside the womb. The dr. said the baby’s doing good by the sound of his heart. Thank God.
